The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers

Hannah was one of the world’s cutest Tiggers for her first Halloween. She actually had two great Tigger outfits, sent with love from her Babcia and Dziadzia, that she alternately wore to parties and the Fall Festival in Rancho Santa Margarita. The Halloween 2004 Gallery includes shots from each event and Hannah lending a helping hand on Halloween night. She stayed awake for the first hour of trick-or-treaters, but soon fell asleep in Rebecca’s arms.

The wonderful thing about Tiggers…is that Tiggers do not feel the need to apply any logic or rationale to reinforce their grand statements and wild claims. We are asked to accept the fact that Tiggers are wonderful based up on the circular argument that Tiggers are wonderful things. Such a platitude would lead to disaster if Tiggers were involved in collegiate forensics, but is still a remarkable argument from a stuffed animal.

In an unrelated note, Hannah is really improving her fine motor skills. You can see her hold a bottle in the new Dried Plums photo set. I’ve been trying to convince Hannah of the marketing brilliance of renaming “prunes” as “dried plums”. She doesn’t buy the argument but she does love the taste.

Actually, there's lots of evidence as to how wonderful Tiggers are: Jacobson, B. (1968). "A Meta-Analytic Approach to Assertaining the Value of Wonderfulness in a Cross Sample of Tigger." Journal of Applied Cartoons, 112, pp 101-113.

Also, loved the outfits. Did Hannah maul someone and put him in an ambulance?
