Visit to the Aquarium of the Pacific

We discovered a couple of weeks ago that Hannah enjoys watching marine life in a well-stocked aquarium. She was with us in Petco to buy dog food for Madison and could not take her eyes off of the tanks of tropical and marine fish. She liked it so much that we thought she might enjoy seeing of the great exhibits at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.

The two hours we spent at the aquarium were fantastic. Hannah enjoyed watching the other children almost as much as she enjoyed the colorful displays. We finished walking through the exhibits just as Hannah had soaked in all of the stimulation she could possibly absorb.

The photos in this set use a variety of lens filters and camera settings. Some are intentionally blurry to illustrate motion. Others are blurry simply because of a high ISO setting and a 6-month-old subject. Noise Ninja helped to kill the noise caused by insanely high ISO settings, but could do little to keep Hannah perfectly still in the midst of sensory overload.
