Halloween 2006

There is nothing to put you in the mood for the Holidays quite like a collection of photos from previous, unrelated holidays, right?

This year was Hannah’s third Halloween and I think she is started to get the hang of it. She loved going to the pumpkin farm and picking out her own pumpkins. She eventually loved her Brown Bear costume, after we had her try it on several times in September and October. Based on how frequently in comes up in conversation now, however, I would have to say that her favorite part of the holiday was the rides on the train at the Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm. She did not want to ride a pony, but she would have ridden the wheels off that train.

Noah’s first Halloween seemed to go well. I doubt that he understood that he was dressed up as a scarecrow, but he enjoyed all of the attention. He would have enjoyed it much more if he had already gotten the four teeth he has now, I am sure.

Cute pictures! But why is there a picture w/an injection line in what I assume is Noah's foot?

Wow, nothing gets by Marla. :-) Noah had minor surgery the day before Halloween. It was “minor” in the medical sense: the surgery only lasted about 15 minutes; he was awake and happy in another 10 minutes; and he was back to his old self in a couple of days. For Rebecca and I, however, the surgery was a scary and decidedly “major” event. All is well now, thankfully.

I know the feeling. When Henry had his hernia procedure at Mission, I was besides myself!
